Superbooth success for Arthur
Amid an array of synths and other modular gear, the recent Superbooth in Berlin (9-11 May) gave DJs and producers an opportunity to see and try Schertler’s Arthur Format 48 and Prime mixers, along with the latest X series mixer modules.
The three-day programme of lectures, concerts, workshops and presentations attracts visitors from all over the world. This year’s show has been rated as one of the biggest yet, featuring an impressive number of new products.
Schertler Marketing Manager Drago Dujak comments: “This Berlin show reflects the good health of the modular synth market. For us, it’s also an experience involving musicians and audio professionals from a sector that is very different from our more traditional musical instrument market. It was great to meet so many visitors who were interested in our modular mixer ranges and we are very happy to have achieved several sales during the show.”
See you next year!
New Schertler tuning machines
After many successful years of manufacturing high-quality tuning machines for classical guitar, Schertler introduces the new EP series. Made from carefully chosen materials, these latest tuners have a bearing on the end of each roller to ensure perfect driving and no wear or rubbing on the headstock. This in turn offers greater durability and mechanical strength. The EP series is expected to be available from August.

Aramini Strumenti Musicali named as new exclusive Schertler distributor for Italy
Aramini Strumenti Musicali has been named as Schertler’s new exclusive distribution partner for Italy. The Bologna-based company adds the Schertler catalog to an established portfolio of premium musical instrument brands from around the world.
“We are delighted to welcome Aramini Strumenti Musicali to our family,” says Schertler Sales Manager Carlo Gervasini. ”The company has a wealth of experience and knowledge, making them an ideal partner to help us bring our new products to market and to provide the best possible service to customers all over Italy. We look forward to a really successful collaboration.”
"We are very pleased and proud of this new collaboration with Schertler - a brand that you all know for sure! “ says Roberta Aramini, one of the family owners of the company.
“We are talking here about high-quality amplifiers and prestigious pickups, which are known and appreciated by all professional guitarists - along with other products of great professionalism and refinement. A brand and technology of such premium quality integrates perfectly into a catalog like ours.
Many are the similarities between our companies: so many synergies and a similarity in the approach to business. Only good can come from this agreement and a great job that is always totally aimed at the satisfaction of the end user - the musician.
It is also a wonder to speak with Stephan Schertler. His enthusiasm is really contagious and above all it allows him to have the energy necessary to follow every detail of current production, without ever losing sight of the future: ‘What can you do to improve your production? And what can I do to be a step ahead?’
This is very pleasing to us and it reassures us about having chosen the right partner, as we believe that today it is really fundamental to look ahead and move forward in a competent and fast way. The brand is already present in Italian stores through a policy of authorized centers that are waiting to let you experience the rich world of Schertler!”

Schertler at Musikmesse / Prolight + Sound 2019
The Schertler team was out in force at this year’s Frankfurt Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound, with 2019 turning out to be one of the company’s most significant shows in terms of staff involvement, booth space and events.
A presence on four booths in three halls enabled visitors (mainly from Germany) to see a range of Schertler products, from compact amplifiers and pickups through to the latest X series mixer modules. With more than 20 Schertler musical events taking place, including a live stage presence in partnership with Bear-Beat, the 15-strong show team was working at full capacity much of the time.
The Prolight+Sound booth was Schertler’s busiest, with hundreds of Arthur fans coming to discover the X series modules and experience the unique Arthur modular analog mixer “live”.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us during the show.
Dave meets “the family”: Schertler’s U.S. National Sales Manager takes a trip to Mendrisio
Earlier this year, Dave Schmidt, Schertler’s National Sales Manager for the U.S., took the opportunity to combine a trip to the Frankfurt Musikmesse/Prolight+Sound with a visit to Schertler HQ in Mendrisio, Switzerland.
“As the National Sales Manager of the U.S. for Schertler, I was blessed to be able to take a two-week trip to Europe. My trip involved attending one of the biggest international trade shows in the world - the renowned Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany - as well as spending time both at the Schertler headquarters and in the gracious home of Stephan Schertler and his wife Lilliana.
What struck me most during my trip was the level of excellence the Schertler family aspires to in its craft. It was truly awakening for me to see the genuine kindness, warmth, passion, and commitment everyone has to making the absolute best quality sound equipment without excuses, compromises or shortcuts.
I got to see firsthand what Stephan Schertler and the entire team do every day—and they do it in concert, like a well-tuned symphony. Not only that, but they treat each other kindly, working as a family.
Every single person I met was meticulous about their job and seemed to care so much. They weren’t working under pressure either. Everyone simply knows what needs to be done and does it at the highest level, as if it were their own name on the product. I can’t overstate how impressed I was by these phenomenal people and this incredible organization.
Schertler is truly unlike any company I have ever worked with before. I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to meet “the family” in person - and I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of it.”
